Legal instruments of social policy in relation to disability

Abstract

The article presents the most important legal regulations (international law and national law) in relation to disability, concerning the protection and promotion of the rights of people with disabilities, as well as the ban to discriminate them. The message of the regulations is freedom and human rights, whose foundation is absolute, inalienable and indefeasible human dignity. The article also presents instruments of the social policy, the issue of disability and the situation of people with disabilities in Poland.
